Our 17-sessions, online training course costs £2,675 which includes all tuition, handouts, written materials and assessments.
This also includes a £75 non-refundable fee paid on application, which covers the costs incurred on administration and the 20min video-call with one of the trainers. If your application is successful and you are accepted into the course, a £500 deposit is needed to secure a place, and the balance is to be paid at least 4 weeks before the commencement of the course.
On completing the course new mediators can join one of the family mediation Membership Organisations and register with the Family Mediation Council. The membership organisations' subscriptions currently vary from £100 to £250, and the fee for registration with the Family Mediation Council is £70 per annum (2024) for those working towards accreditation. Professional Indemnity insurance for new mediators is available at a cost of approximately £100 per annum and Professional Practice Consultant’s fees vary but most charge between £50 and £150 per hour (plus vat if applicable).
We will spend a session during the last day of the course discussing next steps after the Foundation Training.
